Weekly Geeks is a weekly blogging event which is thematic in nature. The idea was birthed by Dewey at The Hidden Side of A Leaf - a fellow blogger and tremendous community builder. When Dewey unexpectedly passed away in November 2008, a group of bloggers decided to keep this event going in her memory.
Weekly Geeks has a new home and will be starting up again on Saturday, January 10, 2008. Themes are posted each Saturday and 'everyone who joins agrees that they will try to check each week to see what the theme is, although they DO NOT have to participate each week, only when they feel like it.' Participants link their blogging posts through Mr. Linky and spend time visiting other bloggers and commenting on their posts.
