Becky from Becky's Book Reviews is hosting the 2009 18th and 19th Century Women Writers Reading Challenge. Challenge participants should read no fewer than four and no more than twelve books written by a woman who lived and wrote from 1700 to 1900. Post-1900 books are NOT allowed. (Becky notes a small loophole here: If a book was written during these two centuries 1700-1900 and was not published until after the author's death...and that publication date just happened to be in the 1900s or 2000s...then that would count.)
Overlaps with other challenges are allowed. Becky provides links to sites where readers can get ideas for their lists.
