By the Chapter is a bi-weekly event hosted by Marcia of The Printed Page.
Welcome to By the Chapter. To say this is like a book club would be a serious exaggeration. By the Chapter is an informal, laid back place for book bloggers and fellow readers to come together Monday to Friday to read and comment on the week’s featured book.
By the Chapter is hosted here at The Printed Page and participcating co-host book blogs. By the Chapter usually has 2 to 5 active participants any given week. Currently By the Chapter is held the 2nd and 4th week of every month.
Host and co-host(s) read the featured book and post to their respective blogs, on their host day, a summary of where they are in the book and their thoughts and feelings about what they’ve read. Hosting bloggers are encouraged to post in the morning, or late the night before, so that visitors can stop by throughout day and follow the book’s progress. Visitors are encouraged to participate by commenting on the hosting blogs.
