The Dark Tower Reading Challenge

January 1, 2012 - December 31, 2012

I read The Dark Tower Series years ago and it has to be one of my favorite series of all time.  I think that because I read some of the books so spaced out from the others, and the fact that I was so young when I read them, I feel like I missed a lot of things that were in the series.  Plus, there are things that I just plain don't remember anymore.  Also, there's a new book coming out in April to add to the series and I want to re-read the series before I delve into that one.
So, from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012, I'm going to be hosting The Dark Tower Reading Challenge.  I'll be honest, this is more for myself than anything else, but its always fun to have other people participate and I think that this will be a great series to discuss.
The books in the series are:
  1. The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger (1982)
  2. The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three (1987)
  3. The Dark Tower III: The Waste Lands (1991)
  4. The Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass (1997)
  5. The Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla (2003)
  6. The Dark Tower VI: Song of Susannah (2004)
  7. The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower (2004)
  8. The Dark Tower: The Wind Through the Keyhole (2012) - BONUS!
