2011 Christian Historical Fiction Challenge

January 1 - December 31, 2011

Margaret is hosting the 2011 Christian Historical Fiction Challenge. She writes:
One of the neatest things this year has been the conception of the Christian Historical Fiction Community! now lovingly found at www.ChristianHistoricalFiction.com How exciting! This was something I worked on from my heart. True it is not very active, but it is not meant to just provide things from me. This is meant to be a place to have readers and authors sharing and finding some great things in the newest about Christian Historical Fiction so you always having something to read and something else to thirst for! If you are interested in participating in any way, just ask!

This past year I hosted the Christian Historical Fiction Reading Challenge and although a little confusing to start on a blogspot, move to a ning and then www.ChristianHistoricalFiction.com (aka chf.creativemadnessmama.com) it’s here and we had a pretty good turn out on participation. In the future if we have more people interested, I’m definitely up for giveaways… *hint tell your friends!*

I’m sure I’ll talk about CHF from time to time as it is my genre, but to keep up with book release announcements and the like, stay tuned at the CHF main page. Also keep up to date with some of your favorite authors and book lovers.

Guidelines:
  • The goal is to read and promote Christian Historical Fiction by reading at least 24 titles. That is two per month, but anyone who wants to commit to more or less is welcome to join in on the fun. Anyone can join. You do not need a blog to participate
  • Audio, Re-reads, eBooks, and other formats are all allowed. As long as the book can be purchased it counts.
  • Feel free to list a proposed lists of TBR (to-be-reads) but you can also list them as you go.
  • Duplicates from other reading challenges can also count.
Learn more and sign up by visiting the post about the challenge.
